Oprah Winfrey

I think everyone has a love-hate relationship with Oprah, you love what she has accomplished but you don't want to be considered one of her die-hard fans. I will be honest, I admire her for her body of work and what she has accomplished. Starting out as an anchorwoman and reaching beyond celebrity. When I say beyond celebrity I mean anyone can be a celebrity nowadays, just get on a reality show or behave badly, but Oprah has been able to inspire people for over three decades, I would say that is beyond celebrity. Oprah has created a syndicated talk shows that had outlived all that were there and all that came after. She had created a book club that got people into reading, she has acted and was nominated for an Oscar, she has her own magazine, just a mention of a product on her show sells the product out in days, she has opened her own school in Africa, God only knows how many charities she has assisted, she has her own network, a whole network. Can we say Dayum!!

Apart from all that she has done professionally, I admire the way she lives her life by living by her rules and doing what is best for her and not what society dictates. I could go on and on, but I'll leave it here.

As you become more clear about who you really are, you'll be better able to decide what is best for you - the first time around.

Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.
Do the one thing you think you cannot do. Fail at it. Try again. Do better the second time. The only people who never tumble are those who never mount the high wire. This is your moment. Own it.
Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.

Follow your instincts. That's where true wisdom manifests itself.
