Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had assigned Thursdays to art, but this one blew me away. This piece is called Dreaming for Joy and it was done by Ran Hwang. I found it on ffffound, which led me to the Design:Related article for the Asian Contemporary Art Fair. What drew me to this installation was that all the red in this piece are buttons. As the article says:

Ran Hwang’s Dreaming for Joy installation was a study in Eastern meditation, where literally thousands of individual buttons were used in the ongoing process.

This is impressive.
